I use the SSD as my boot drive and have partitioned the 2 TB drive to create 4 scratch disks. I have 16 GB RAM. My main use of the system is for photo editing in Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5. I am totally confused about if it is best (in terms of speed) to use the SSD as the boot drive or the scratch disk for Photoshop.
