The biggest difference in quality for me was the "Environment texture quality" option, so I've kept everything on the Ultra preset but bumped this one to Extreme. Another difference is the seasons. 4 has clear distinct seasons, including snow. 5 has wet season, somewhat less wet season, dry season, etc. Some people didn't like the snow in 4. Personally I did but I like rally racing, dirt racing, etc., so I had a lot of cars tuned for that. Manual VS. Automatic Shifting - Practicality. Horizon 5 is my first Forza game.
